More About Us
The Boulder Holistic Medical Center is a Family Practice and Holistic Medical facility where Dr. Paul Berger, a Family Practice certified MD and Marilyn Gandolph, PA, practice western medicine and we also have education and interest in finding natural means to answer your medical concerns, problems and lifestyle questions. In that vein (a medical pun-sorry!) we can provide yearly physicals and we do give vaccinations, antibiotics for the more serious infections and we perform minor surgeries in our state of the art surgical suite in the office.
We also try to get you to take your vitamins and essential fatty acids, specific supplements, herbs and homeopathies as needed. We also know a lot about alternative techniques and will help you to find the right acupuncturist, body worker, psychotherapist or other healer for any issue that you come in with. Typically we recommend a little "eastern" and "western" philosophies and
like to use both in an integrative fashion. There are good things in both systems and we would like to help you to decide when you need what mix of each.
If you've been into our new clinic, you know that we have a wide array of basic supplements. We will still refer you to one of our favorite local pharmacies for the products that we don't carry. We have some amazing practitioners here with long lists of credentials and fascinating careers. Marilyn also has a specialty in skin care. Karen Masek, LPN also works at a clinic that does Laser Aesthetic skin techniques. This means we have a new specialized team you can see for your skin concerns. Astrid our long time R.N. is spending more time with her growing artistic career, but is still practicing her expert nursing and keeping us organized. Ruth DeCesari is our Office Manager and keeper of the facts, she is here for all of your administrative concerns. Audra has left us to further her career and her replacement is Adrienne, so please come in and welcome her and be kind to her while she gets to learn our procedures.
In the future we will have a "shopping cart" so that you can order you supplements and have them delivered to your door.
